Features

High-hardness cutting
The tooth tips are made of cemented carbide, with a hardness exceeding the shear strength of wood fibers. Material separation is achieved through localized shearing and crushing.

Matching tooth angles
4°–10° tooth angles correspond to different wood densities. By changing the cutting incident angle, the cutting depth per unit tooth is controlled, thereby adjusting the load distribution between hardwood and softwood.

Low material consumption
The saw blade structure, with a thickness of approximately 0.7–1.05mm, creates a narrower kerf, reducing the cutting volume occupied under the same raw material size and increasing the yield per unit.

Applications

Primary Timber Processing Industry: Used for splitting and sawing logs into boards or blanks for drying and secondary processing.

Furniture Manufacturing Industry: Used for cutting solid wood boards and shaping components, providing basic dimensions and outlines for furniture structural parts.

Building Materials Processing Industry: Used for cutting lightweight building materials such as aerated concrete and paper tubes, enabling fixed-length processing and structural segmentation.

Timber Trading and Sawn Timber Grading Industry: Used for standardized cutting and specification processing of sawn timber, creating standard-sized materials suitable for distribution.

FAQ

Q: How to choose tooth angle and pitch for different wood hardness levels?

A: Low-density softwoods can use a larger tooth pitch and a 10° tooth angle to increase the amount of material cut per pass. High-density hardwoods require a 4°–7° tooth angle and a closer tooth pitch to reduce the cutting load per tooth.

Q: How to determine the cause of deviation during cutting?

A: Deflection is usually related to uneven tooth tip wear or insufficient tension. This can be diagnosed by checking the tooth tip wear condition and adjusting the tensioning system parameters.

Q: Is frequent tool resharpening necessary?

A: Carbide tooth tips reduce the wear rate through their high-hardness structure. When continuously machining hardwoods, the main source of wear is tooth tip dulling rather than structural damage. The resharpening cycle depends on the material density and feed load.
