Features

High-hardness cutting
The tooth tip hardness is ≥HRC64. A high-carbon steel matrix combined with a quenching process creates a high-hardness surface structure, allowing for localized material separation upon contact with wood fibers in the cutting zone.

Cutting impact dispersion structure
The arc-shaped bevel tooth profile alters the feed angle, transforming the cutting force from an instantaneous impact into a gradual penetration into the material, thereby reducing the concentration of instantaneous fiber breakage.

Low material loss
The kerf width is approximately 1.0–1.6 mm, maximizing board utilization in a single cut by reducing the material removal volume.

Applications

Furniture Manufacturing Industry: Used for initial shaping of boards, solid wood components, and mortise and tenon joints, bringing logs or boards to standardized processing dimensions.

Primary Timber Processing Industry: Used for splitting and segmenting logs, processing raw wood into basic blanks suitable for drying and further processing.

Crafts and Curved Surface Processing Industry: Used for cutting musical instruments, wood carvings, and curved structural components, achieving basic shaping of complex contours.

Lightweight Materials Processing Industry: Used for basic cutting of aluminum, copper, and plastic materials, completing the dimensional division of non-rigid materials.

FAQ

Q: How to choose the number and shape of teeth?

A: Fewer teeth correspond to larger cutting volumes and faster feed rates, while more teeth improve control over the details of the cutting edge. Trapezoidal teeth are used for straight-line cutting, while mixed teeth are used for curved or complex path machining.

Q: How to adjust for chipping when cutting wood?

A: This can be achieved by reducing the feed rate or selecting a denser tooth configuration, which lowers the cutting load per tooth, thereby reducing the concentrated area of instantaneous fiber breakage.

Q: How does the hardness of different types of wood affect tool selection?

A: High-density hardwoods require higher tooth tip hardness and a smaller tooth pitch to distribute the cutting load, while softwoods can use a larger tooth pitch to increase the amount of material removed per pass.
